Common questions
Is my image uploaded?+
No. Compression runs in your browser for JPG, PNG and WebP, so the file never leaves your device. Only very large images or formats your browser can't read are processed on the PsyDox server.
Will it look bad?+
Quality is lowered only as much as needed and never below 55. If the image still doesn't fit, it is made up to three times 10% smaller instead, and the result tells you so.
Can I pick a different size?+
Yes: 100, 200, 500 or 1000 KB, or any custom limit. Marketplace templates fill in their own limit automatically.
Why is my PNG still big?+
PNG is lossless, so the only way to shrink it is fewer pixels. Choose JPG or WebP for photos.
