Why convert HEIC?+
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, but most marketplaces and many browsers can't open it. JPG works everywhere.
Is the photo rotated correctly?+
Yes. The phone's orientation is applied once, so the JPG comes out upright.
Is this free? Is the photo stored?+
Free. Browsers can't decode HEIC, so the conversion runs on the PsyDox server with a free sign-in. The photo is converted in memory and not stored.
What about location data?+
Camera and location metadata is removed by default. Choose "Keep metadata" if you need it.
