Meesho Catalog Photo Rules and Checklist
Updated 13 October 2026 · Psydox
Free toolMeesho Image Size & ResizerMeesho shows its catalog image guidelines inside the Supplier Panel, after you sign in, and doesn't publish them as a public help page. So this guide doesn't repeat numbers it can't source. It explains where to find the official rules, gives a safe starting template, and lists the photo problems that marketplaces including Meesho commonly reject.
Where the official rules are
Sign in to the Meesho Supplier Panel and open the catalog upload flow for your category; the image guidelines are shown there. Rules can differ by category, so check each category you sell in.
A safe starting template
PsyDox's Meesho template is a square (1:1) JPEG, 1080 × 1080 px, on a clean white background, under 3 MB, with the whole product visible. It's a conservative default: confirm the size and file limit in your Supplier Panel and adjust if your category asks for more.
Photo checklist
- One clear product, sharp and well lit, filling most of the frame.
- The real product, in the exact colour you're listing. Shoot each colour you sell; don't recolour one photo for a colour you don't stock.
- No text, watermarks, phone numbers or logos added to the image.
- No price tags or stickers left on the product.
- Not stretched or cut off: fit the product into the square instead.
- Consistent backgrounds across a catalog, so your listings look professional side by side.
- Most Meesho buyers shop on phones, so check that the product is still clear on a small screen.
